PTFA
What is a PTFA?
A Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is a fun, sociable and charitable committee of teachers and parents and is an excellent way to bring together parents, teachers and our local community.
Anyone who has children at the school, or who works at the school is automatically a member of the PTFA. Meetings are open to all members, and you will be made most welcome should you choose to attend.
What does the PTFA do?
The aim is to raise funds to buy things that will benefit the children at our school, which the school could not otherwise afford. We also organise social events for children, parents and friends, as well as fostering community relationships.
Events have included:
· Movie nights
· Mother's Day /Father's Day stalls
· Discos
· Christmas party
· Bake sale
· Personalised cards
· School summer fête
How can you get involved in the PTFA?
Everyone is made welcome at any stage through their involvement with the school and it is never too late to get involved. We are always on the lookout for new ideas, or helpers to run events, even for half an hour. Whatever you can put in – it will be appreciated.
Meetings will be posted on Parent Hub.
