PTFA
What is a PTFA?
The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is a vibrant, friendly, and charitable group made up of teachers and parents. It’s a great way to connect parents, teachers, and our local community.
If you have a child at the school or work here, you’re automatically a member of the PTFA. Meetings are open to everyone, and you’ll be warmly welcomed if you choose to attend.
What does the PTFA do?
Our main goal is to raise funds for items that will directly benefit the children at our school—things the school might not be able to afford otherwise. We also organise social events for children, parents, and friends, and work to strengthen community ties.
Some of the events we’ve held include:
- Movie nights
- Mother’s Day / Father’s Day stalls
- Discos
- Christmas party
- Bake sales
- Personalised cards
- School summer Fete
How can you get involved with the PTFA?
Everyone is welcome to join at any point during their time at the school, and it’s never too late to get involved! We’re always eager for new ideas or volunteers to help run events—even if it’s just for half an hour. Any time you can contribute will be appreciated.
Meeting details will be posted on Parent Hub.
